Slow and Steady First Major Update


Greetings!

I finally have an updated product I feel is ready for more public testing.  The progress has been slow because I have a day job, but I log in as much time as I can to developing the game.  With that in mind, let me tell you what I've changed!

- The Game Doesn't Start in Easy Mode -

Aisling, the fairy, being able to shield Tuso, the kid, is no longer the default.  In fact, I've added a Difficulty Setting in the Setting Menu.  Here, you can toggle whether you'd like to toggle Stage Skipping, Fairy Shielding, or Key Saving.  Want an easier experience?  Try enabling Fairy Shield.  Looking for a tougher game?  Try disabling Key Saving so every key returns if you fail.

- The Game was Streamlined for Convenience -

 I tweaked the game here and there to improve game feel in general.  I sped up stage transitions, increased the falling gravity on the kid, and made it so text do not show up again if you are retrying a stage.  I also sped up the Stage Skip screen if you see it more than once during your current session.  I rewrote the introduction and the tutorial stage to be tighter and simplified.

- Finally Replaced some Placeholders -

I've changed some sprites and improved the AI of some of the enemies.  Most noted: The yellow mushrooms are gone, replaced with green ones!  Tweaked the light code so it won't give that crazy error again.  Added some stage decorations that will tie in with the new lore I'm adding in the future!
